The two-day event is meant for event organizers who would like to meet all Slovenian convention players in one place. The first day is for associations, while second is for corporate clients. "We are also expecting representatives from the government and other public services that are organizing events," said the Director of the Slovenian Convention Bureau, Miha Kovacic. The participants will be able to meet personally with venue representatives (convention centres, convention hotels, hotels with convention capacities and places for special events); convention services providers (PCO's, convention tourist agencies, incentive and teambuilding agencies, transportation and airline companies, technical and IT suppliers, catering services and others) and local tourist organizations. Best practice case studies will be presented at the SIMEX Exchange as well as some lectures with local and foreign speakers regarding convention tourism. There will be plenty of time for networking and socializing as well as for one-on-one meetings with meeting planners, suppliers, meeting venues and service providers.
