Ingolf Wunder


True to his name, Ingolf Wunder is a wonderful pianist. Klagenfurt-based, the young musician debuted at the age of fourteen in the Schubert Hall of the Konzerthaus Vienna, while further performances have led him to Paris, Lisbon, Madrid, Budapest, Moscow, the Berlin Konzerthaus, Hamburg, the Vienna Musikverein, the Mariinsky Theatre in Sankt Petersburg, and to Vancouver. Wunder has won numerous piano competitions; most notably the first prizes at the Steinway Competition in Hamburg, Prima la musica in Feldkirch, Austria, and Concours musical de France in Asti. He is best known for playing Chopin and this night will be no different. Besides Chopin, he will also play some Liszt and Mozart.
