Estrella Morente, hailing from Spain, is the first lady of present-day flamenco. Originating from a widely famed flamenco family, the singer earned worldwide acclaim when dubbing Penelope Cruz's flamenco song, Volver, in the eponymous film by Pedro Almodovar. She is the daughter of flamenco singer Enrique Morente and dancer Aurora Carbonell. She has been performing since the age of seven and released her first album in 2001.
