This documentary film offers thirteen perspectives on Angela Vode, an activist, writer, fighter for the freedom of speech and thought, prisoner, outcast and, ultimately, a film character. The path of Angela Vode was very unusual, marked by trials and tribulations. She was a famous activist and special educator, a model Slovenian. A long-standing member of the Communist Party, she was expelled in 1939/40 after having opposed the collaboration with the Nazis. Then she was taken prisoner and treated as an outcast. But who was she and what was she like in person?
