Ljubljana - The Slovenian Enterprise Fund has published a call for applications for favourable loans for mitigating the consequences of the Covid-19 epidemic on companies, worth a total of EUR 77 million. In the first round, the sole beneficiaries will be companies providing travel services.

Loans of up to EUR 100,000 for an individual company or sole proprietor will be granted in three rounds - until 22 April, until 20 May and until 10 June.

In the first round, eligible are companies providing services of travel agencies, trip organisation and bookings and other travel-related activities.

The interest-free loans look to secure fast and affordable financing and repayment of claims by clients related to contracts on package travels signed with travel agencies and trip organisers, the fund announced on Friday.

Among the benefits, it noted less strict requirements for insurance, maturity of between one and seven years, possibility of a moratorium of up to 24 months and loan covering up to 100% of the eligible costs of a project.
