Ljubljana - Slovenian PM Janez Janša rang up Šefik Džaferović, the Bosniak member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina presidency, on Friday to explain that there is no non-paper containing border changes or efforts to undermine Bosnia-Herzegovina's territorial integrity that could be linked with the Slovenian government.

News of the conversation was posted on the Bosnian presidency's website and reported on by the Bosnian newspaper Dnevni Avaz, while Janša's office later confirmed it for the STA and Janša retweeted a link to Dnevni Avaz's news report.

The Bosnian presidency says on its website that Janša said Slovenia supported Bosnia-Herzegovina's sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as its Euro-Atlantic integration and full adherence to the Dayton Agreement.

Džaferović stressed that any talks about dividing Bosnia-Herzegovina ethnically or territorially should be suppressed immediately.

He believes the only way forward is Bosnia-Herzegovina's further internal reintegration and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The pair also discussed Slovenia's EU presidency and a planned EU-Western Balkans summit which will focus on enhancing the process of the region's EU integration.

Responding to the STA's request to provide details about the conversation, Janša's office said the pair "discussed preparations for an informal EU summit on the Western Balkans during Slovenia's EU presidency" in the second half of the year.
