"PechaKucha" is a non-profit project that promotes creativity. The PechaKucha Night (Noč PechaKucha) takes place in a single evening, where at least ten creative people from different areas will present themselves and their work. In their shows they will briefly describe and stage what and how they do/work and what inspired them. Each participant must present precisely 20 stories with 20 pictures and has 20 seconds of time for each of them, which makes 6 minutes and 40 seconds until the next performer's turn. Such evenings have already taken place in 318 cities around the world, and the number of performances is rising.
The international performance of the PechaKucha event in 2012, which strengthens the role of Maribor as a metropolis of culture, will by accompanied with presentations and poster exhibitions.
