On the 22nd of January, when World Snow Days launches, Planica will solemnly open Winter land in the vicinity of the flying hill outrun. There multiple snow activities will be presented to children.

Both Nordic disciplines, cross country and ski jumping, will be our priority. We will prepare a cross country polygon, with interesting stops on the way and a sprint track. On small jumping hills it will be possible to try out first made Elan's jumping skis for beginners.

Children will have the opportunity to compete in Broomball on ice and find their way out of a snow labyrinth. They will be also able to descend down the hill with tubes and create sculptures from snow.

We will encourage children to write about their experiences in Winter land on Facebook. Also there is a prize foreseen for published photography that receives most "likes".

Winter land will open on Sunday, 22nd of January 2012 and will offer great experiences till Monday, 20th of February 2012.
