The scientific dimension of the project will be provided by a two-day symposium with participants from already participating institutions that systematically research the area of Eastern Central Europe and Eastern Europe. It will be dedicated to reflection upon emancipation and elimination in the Middle Ages and in the period of the great modernization of life in the Industrial Epoch, to historical insight (political history, history of everyday life, cultural history) and literary history.
