The Goli na odru band has been formed ad hoc - to accommodate a project by Janja Majzelj: an evening of chansons by Svetlana Makarovič, Krizantema na klavirju (A Chrysanthemum on a Piano), directed and performed by Majzelj and produced by the theatre Mladinsko Gledališče Ljubljana. The musicians share a common flair for the theatrical, feel for verbal expression, improvisation, the atmosphere of a certain genre, disregard of the established patterns of expressiveness, advanced music training and innovativeness. We can look forward to a hefty dose of chansons, tango songs and more.
