In August of 2008 Panč stand-up comedy festival was born behind the walls of the castle Ljubljana. As the largest comedy festival in this part of Europe, in its first year Panč became one of the highlights of the culture happening in the castle. All three festival nights were sold out, and there wasn't a single media that didn't cover the event. Tremendous success drew the organizing group Komikaze even further, making them work hard to make the second festival even bigger, better, funnier and more attended than the first one. In January 2010 the winter edition of the festival was born.
