Janez Bončina Benč is one of the most renowned singers from Slovenia. He made his claim to fame with bands like Mladi Levi, The Generals, Srce and the jazz rock outfit September. He later became a popular singer in Slovenia, but his music has always had hints of jazz in it, as we will undoubtedly experience at his performance with the Radio and Television Slovenia Big Band.
