The Fable (Fabula) festival will host a string of literary events of high calibre featuring big names in literature from Slovenia and abroad. This year's edition of the festival, dedicated to socially conscious literature, will feature a number of world renowned writers, including Hanif Kureishi, Leena Krohn, Amitav Ghosh and Mikhail Shishkin. One of the regular fixtures of the festival is an international symposium, this year dedicated to Franz Kafka.
