Holding a PhD in pharmacy, Tihomir Pinter's achievements in photography have earned him the title of FZS Master of Photography and the Excellence FIAP distinction. Within the last few decades he has created a unique cultural chronicle of present-day Slovenia - a portrait gallery of prominent contemporary artists: fine artists, authors and composers (books: An Artist in His Studio - DZS, Portraits of Contemporary Slovenian Writers - Etic, Contemporary Slovenian Composers - Prešernova družba, Artists in the Studio - Modrijan). The portraits of Slovenian fine artists display impeccable technique as well as contemplated and telling compositions.
