Positivity rate remains high as 381 new cases of coronavirus confirmed
Ljubljana - Slovenia confirmed 381 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, down slightly from the three-month high registered on the day before. The positivity rate remained high, at 17%, show data released by the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).
The positive cases came from 2,235 PCR tests. An additional 21,583 rapid antigen tests were performed as well.
The 14-day incidence per 100,000 population jumped by 12 to 130 and the seven-day average of daily cases rose by 19 to 237.
The situation in hospitals remains broadly stable with 56 patients in hospital of whom 10 are in intensive care, according to data tracker Covid-19 Sledilnik.
Two persons with Covid died.
