Ljubljana - Slovenia logged 273 new coronavirus infection on Saturday for a positivity rate of 19.6%. The 14-day incidence per 100,000 people increased from 229 to 237, fresh official data show. Hospitalisations continue to rise, according to the national data tracker Covid-19 Sledilnik. No deaths were reported.

The number of Covid patients in hospital was up by eight to 129 this morning, with 23 in intensive care, up two from the day before, data by Covid-19 Sledilnik show.

The National Institute of Public Health estimates that there are currently 5,067 active cases in the country, up by 174 from the day before.

The 7-day average of confirmed daily cases also increased, by 4 to 418.
