According to Bonitetna hiša I, a Dun & Bradstreet partner company, the main benchmark for the award was that the companies paid their bills on time, reported good results and did not take risky moves that could endanger their existence.

These companies are all "reliable partners, trusted by suppliers, banks and insurance companies", the ratings agency said.

Seven other companies which were shortlisted for the award but did not make it to the top include IT company Dewesoft, technical textile manufacturer Filc, pre-manufactured house maker Lumar IG, measuring equipment manufacturer Metrel, national postal operator Pošta Slovenije, engineering company Riko and car dealership Špan.
