Silver in Mixed Relay
Slovenia crossed the finish line first, but the win was given to Norway as the judges shaved 20 seconds off the team's time because they ran an unnecessary penalty loop due to a technical mistake at the shooting range.
Andreja Mali was very good in the first run and finished her 6 km part in 12th place, trailing the leaders only by a few seconds.
Slovenia's best female biathlete Teja Gregorin took over from Mali and managed to bring Slovenia to the 5th place midway through the race before handing over to Klemen Bauer.
Bauer picked up where Gregorin left off, powering his way to the third place behind Germany and Norway.
Fak, who won bronze for Croatia at the Vancouver Olympics and joined Slovenia's team in late 2010, was perfect in his shooting and managed to take over the first place, keeping it until the finish.
Slovenia's silver is a sensation as the team left world's biathlon superpowers such as Germany, Sweden and Russia behind.
