St. Petersburg is a city full of ballet legends. Great traditions of the Russian classical ballet school still exist there. The organizers included into the programme the scenes from the most famous ballets by the choreographers of XIX-XX centuries (M. Petipa, G. Balanchine, M. Fokine), but at the same time they would like to emphasize modern Russian ballet, showing the perfect technical skill, virtuosity and endless possibilities of the dancers. But even perfect skills mean nothing without spirituality and emotions.
