The art director of SNG Maribor Ballet, Edward Clug, who has been a choreographer of theatre shows, a ballet dancer and choreographer of modern dance projects in his successful and versatile career, will stage a new ballet creation on the large stage of the Maribor Slovenian National Theatre. The work, a synthesis of two Stravinsky ballets (Petrushka andThe Rite of spring), is a reflection on the existential reality of postmodernist society. The performance will be dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the composer's birth.
