Poll shows SDS followed by Robert Golob List

Ljubljana - A public opinion poll conducted by pollster Parsifal for commercial broadcaster Planet TV shows that the ruling Democrats (SDS) enjoy the support of 31.9% of decided voters, up 1.7 percentage point from last month. The Robert Golob List comes second on 12.6% support. Despite losing more than 7 percentage points, the SD ranks third on 12%.

The opposition Left comes in fourth, with its support dropping from 9.2% to 9.1%. The coalition New Slovenia (NSi) follows with 8.8%, a significant rise from 4.8% last month.

Two more parties would make it to parliament, the Marjan šarec List with 4.8% (down from 11.8% last month) and Let's Connect Slovenia with 4.2% (down from 7.3% last month), reports web portal Siol.net.

The Pensioners' Party (DeSUS), National Party (SNS) and the Alenka Bratušek Party (SAB) would not exceed the parliamentary threshold, polling at 3.3%, 2.7% and 2.4%, respectively.

The poll was conducted among 734 people by phone between 4 and 6 January.
