NKBM issues EUR 300m bond

Maribor - The NKBM bank completed on Thursday its first issue of a non-preferred senior bonds on the international market in the nominal amount of EUR 300 million and maturity of three years, with the possibility of recall after two years.

The bank said that the bonds with a yield of 1.875% had been listed on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange on the day of issue.

The investor base is diversified, with investors from the UK and Ireland leading the way, accounting for 45% of the total issue. They are followed by investors from Slovenia, Central and Eastern Europe, Italy and France.

According to NKBM, the order book was dominated by high-quality asset managers, who accounted for about 80% of all investors, followed by private banks.

The bond issue for the Maribor-based bank was organised by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, BNP Paribas, J.P. Morgan and UniCredit.
