Ljubljana - Staff employed in critical infrastructure, police force and defence will not be required to quarantine after a high-risk contact with a person infected with coronavirus, but will have to test daily at work for seven days and wear a FFP2 face mask, under a decision taken by the government on Thursday.

The government listed as critical infrastructure employees in energy, transport, food, water supply, healthcare, finance, environmental protection sector and ICT networks and systems.

The exemption from quarantine is already in place for staff in education, healthcare and social care.
