Ljubljana - After one of Slovenia's largest commercial TV operators Pro Plus faced a cyber-attack on Tuesday, it is now gradually resuming operations and focusing all efforts on getting its main systems back up and running, reads Wednesday's announcement on the company's website 24ur.com.

Pro Plus, the Slovenian multimedia company for television management and production that operates the commercial TV channels POP TV and Kanal A, along with several other channels, services and websites, was the target of a cyber-attack on Tuesday evening.

Pro Plus announced on its primary news website 24ur.com on Wednesday that the company was restoring operations after the recent cyber-attack, the full extent of which cannot yet be assessed.

The company also said that it is "focusing all efforts on getting the main systems back up and running as soon as possible," adding that "all channels are currently on air and broadcasting, and websites are operational to a certain extent".

"Unfortunately, we will not be able to stream live broadcasts and upload content to the video library until further notice. We sincerely thank all our viewers for their patience and support," concludes the announcement by Pro Plus.
