Solar Energy out of Government Map?
The prices of photovoltaic equipment have fallen so much over the recent years that the investment is covered in seven years, while state support lasts 15 years, the minister noted.
The aid in form of a fixed price for the buy-off of the electricity produced will thus be reduced for all plants launched after 1 July 2012.
As the installation of solar panels on top of a building costs less than EUR 1,800 per kW on average, and panels on the ground cost less than EUR 1,600 per kW, the state support will be set to EUR 197.55 per MWh for panels on buildings and to EUR 176.55 per MWh for solar panels on the ground.
Černač also said the government would consider breaking down the subsidy to more classes than the current two.
