Ljubljana - The Faculty for Tourism of the University of Maribor has joined numerous organisations that have been providing aid to Ukrainians by offering free tourism courses of all levels. A Ukrainian professor is also invited to come teach or do research at the faculty for a year.

The faculty said in today's press release it had immediately condemned the horrors that the Ukrainian population had been subject to, and was now offering help to Ukrainian students and professors.

The faculty offers Bachelor and Master's degrees, and post-gradual studies. "We offer free studies on all levels to Ukrainian students in the coming 2022/23 academic year," the faculty said.

The courses in English are available at the faculty's unit in Ljubljana, while at the seat of the faculty in Brežice programmes in Slovenian are available. The faculty said both were suitable for students from Ukraine.

The faculty also offers a full-time job to a Ukrainian professor who would like to lecture or do research work in tourism at the faculty for a year.
