Ljubljana - The advisory committee on immunisation at the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) recommends the fourth dose of a Covid vaccine for people with a weak immune system.

The decision on this was made last Wednesday, according to a release on the website of the NIJZ.

Individuals with a weak immune system will be able to get another booster shot from three to six months after the third shot.

Those who were vaccinated with Janssen, which is no longer in use in Slovenia, can also receive the second booster shot at their own request.
