Covid daily case count dips to one-month low

Ljubljana - Another 899 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Saturday, down 28% from the same day a week ago, as the coronavirus case count keeps falling. This is the lowest daily tally of infections since early March.

The National Institute of Public Health estimates 36,740 people are actively infected in the country, down 613 from the estimate on the previous day.

The 7-day average of new daily cases fell to 2,390, down 63 from the day before, and the cumulative 14-day incidence per 100,000 people is at 1,740, down by 30.

The latest infections were picked up from 677 PCR tests and 4,050 rapid antigen tests.
