Lowest weekday Covid count since late February
Ljubljana - Slovenia logged 1,860 coronavirus cases on Thursday, the lowest weekday figure since late February. Hospitalisations fell as well, but four patients with Covid-19 died, Health Ministry data shows.
As of this morning 168 patients were treated for Covid-19 in hospitals, including 21 in intensive care, three fewer than yesterday. The overall figure is down by four.
The National Institute of Public Health estimates 31,680 people are still actively infected in the country, over a thousand fewer than the estimate the day before.
The 7-day average of new cases fell below 2,000 to 1,964, down 72 from the day before, as the 14-day notification rate per 100,000 of the population fell by 48 to 1,501.
