Slovenia contributing a million euros to Ukraine aid fund
Ljubljana - Slovenia has contributed a million euros at an international donor conference for Ukraine refugee aid, which raised a total of EUR 9.1 billion.
"We are promising an additional almost million euros through the International Red Cross and the World Food Programme," Prime Minister Janez Janša said at yesterday's conference.
It will also provide assistance in kind for Ukrainian refugees in Moldova, Slovakia and Poland, he announced on Twitter.
Slovenia has previously donated over a million euros for Ukraine through international organisations.
The donor conference was organised by the European Commission and Canada.
