Ljubljana - The coronavirus pandemic is in slow retreat in Slovenia with 785 new cases reported for Saturday, down 16% on the week before, and hospital numbers dropping. Four patients with Covid-19 died.

There were 142 patients treated for Covid in hospitals this morning, down by 12 over yesterday, of which 23 in intensive care, Health Ministry data show.

The 14-day incidence per 100,000 population was down by 26 to 1,425, with the rolling seven-day average of new daily cases decreasing by 19 to 1,869.
