Pharma company Krka accounted for EUR 2.22m in trading, but the item remained flat at EUR 43. Following in terms of volumes was retailer Mercator (EUR 419,000) and telco Telekom Slovenije (EUR 240,000), both of which had a not-so-good week. Mercator shed 1.61% to EUR 122 and Telekom tanked 7.25% to EUR 63.99.

Other blue chips were not spared the investor gloom either. Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav plunged 6.80% to EUR 11.65, home appliance maker Gorenje shed 6.50% to EUR 4.82, energy company Petrol lost 6.11% to EUR 169 and KBM lost 4.63% to EUR 2.10.

Outside the blue chip index, logistics company Intereuropa gained 21.60% to EUR 0.46 on paper-thin volumes, while reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava added 0.96% to EUR 5.25. Port operator Luka Koper shed 3.61% to EUR 8.
