Ljubljana - A total of 1,135 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Slovenia on Tuesday, down both in daily and weekly comparison. Hospitalisations kept decreasing, and an additional one person with Covid died, fresh official data shows.

There were 85 patients treated for coronavirus as their main diagnosis at regular Covid wards this morning, down by five on yesterday, and 14 needed intensive care, down by one, Health Ministry data shows.

The National Institute of Public Health estimates 14,817 people are still actively infected in the country, down by nearly 470 on the previous day.

The 14-day incidence per 100,000 of the population also continued to drop, currently standing at 699, and the 7-day average of new cases dropped to 994.
