Krško - Electricity and gas retailer Gen-I has issued a 12-month commercial paper worth EUR 60 million as an instrument to finance working capital and disperse short-term financing.

The initially targeted EUR 50 million issue was extended by EUR 10 million due to high demand, the company said on Wednesday. A total of 62 investors subscribed to the issue.

The annual interest rate on what is the company's 11th issue of commercial paper is 1.3%. The paper will be traded on the bond market of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
