Ljubljana - A total of 407 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Wednesday, two-thirds of the figure reported a week ago, and one patient with Covid-19 died, data released by the Health Ministry shows.

In hospitals 45 patients are still being treated for Covid-19 as their main condition, including seven in intensive care.

The National Institute of Public Health estimates 7,495 people are still actively infected.

The 14-day incidence per 100,000 of the population is at 354, down 28 from the day before. The 7-day case average was down by as much, to 453.
