Ljubljana - A total of 393 coronavirus infections were confirmed in Slovenia on Tuesday, a drop of 46% from Monday and of 38% from a week ago. There were no deaths, fresh data shows.

Health Ministry data shows there are currently 34 Covid-19 patients at regular Covid wards, down four from yesterday, and two in intensive care, three fewer.

The total number of patients infected with Covid is meanwhile 68.

The National Institute of Public Health estimates that there are now just over 5,800 active cases in the country.

The 7-day average of cases reached 344 and the 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 people 276.
