The plan was confirmed by parliament in May but received little attention since it was overshadowed by the adoption of the supplementary budget.

The list of property for sale, Delo reported on Saturday, includes the former residence of Yugoslav leader Josip Broz Tito in Bled, Villa Bled.

The government wants to let the 15,750 m2 property for EUR 7,000 per month or sell it for three million euros.

Borl Castle near Ptuj in eastern Slovenia is for sale for just under two million euros (EUR 2.2m together with the surrounding land).

The Defence Ministry alone has EUR 20m-worth of apartments slated for sale, according to the report.
