Diesel fuel and heating oil will also cost more. Diesel will go up 5.3 cents to EUR 1.320 a litre and heating oil 1 cent to EUR 0.957 a litre, fuel retailer Petrol announced on Monday.

Petrol said higher prices were due to a new CO2 surcharge.

The retail prices of petroleum products in Slovenia are adjusted every two weeks in line with a pricing model combining the price of oil derivatives on global markets and the exchange rate of the US dollar.
