Ljubljana - As many as 458 new coronavirus cases were logged in Slovenia on Monday, a weekly rise of 78, while there were no deaths, the data released by the Health Ministry shows.

The number of persons hospitalised due to Covid-19 dropped by 5 to 21 from Sunday to Monday, and another four persons were in intensive care, the same as on Sunday.

The National Institute of Public Health estimates that there are now 3,615 active cases in the country, a daily drop of 115.

The 7-day average of new cases dropped by 12 to 250 in a day, and the 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 population dropped by 6 to 169.
