Ljubljana - A total of 351 new coronavirus infections were confirmed in Slovenia on Tuesday, which is an increase of 7% week-on-week. The number of Covid patients in hospitals remained flat compared to the day before, while one patient died.

According to the data from the Health Ministry, the number of patients in ordinary wards remained at 21, and the number of patients in intensive care at four.

The National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) estimates that there are currently 3,572 active cases in Slovenia, which is 43 fewer than the day before.

According to the NIJZ, the 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 of the population is at 167, down two on a daily basis, and the 7-day average of cases is at 254, up by four on a daily basis.
