Gorenje's new generation of washing machines and dryers reaffirm the company's role asan innovative and superior design-minded creator of home appliances. "The new generation of washing machines and dryers is Gorenje's key product launch this year. It involves a comprehensive revampof a wide range of appliances for washing and drying laundry that sets a new standard in terms of technology and design. These products result from the work of an interdisciplinary team of Gorenje experts whose innovative ideas and smart solutions resulted in truly superior appliances. The users will particularly appreciate the ergonomic design and remarkably simple choice of the most suitable programme for each type of laundry, for both washing and drying. Award Winning Superior Design
The new generation washing machines and dryers arebased on several years of research in key markets and testing by end-users. "Our design team focused on achieving a superior user experience and simplicity of use, whilstseeking aesthetic perfection exuding technological competence and product quality on the one hand and speaking a unique, distinctive language of visual arts through comfort of use on the other. The washing machine front panel is visually conceived in a way that makes selection much easier for the user, without any restrictions on custom adjustments and settings of the machine," explained Lidija Pritržnik, Creative Director,Gorenje Design Studio, whose team won the prestigious Red Dot Award.
The power of New Technology
The efficiency of the new generation of washing machines and dryers is based on the innovative SensorIQ technology that automatically optimises the washing and drying process. The washing machine models lay claim to aA+++(-20%) energy rating andthe condenser dryers with a heat pump and a TwinAir air blowing system hold a A-40% rating.
"Intelligent SensorIQ technology includes numerous integrated sensors that constantly monitor the washing process to make sure the energy use, water and time is always optimal. Based on collected data, the technology automatically adjusts and optimises the washing process according to the selected programme and the type and weight of the laundry; the latter is enabled by the Total Weight automatic laundry weight sensor," elaborated Rok Grudnik, Head of Category Management WET at Gorenje. He highlighted the unique UltraWHITE programme for retaining the whiteness of delicates. With this innovation Gorenje is the first in the market to guarantee completely white and shiny laundry at temperatures as low as 30°C.
Programmes adjust to the type of laundry
The UltraWHITE programme is intended for the care of white delicate laundry such as synthetics, silk, nylon and lace which, due to the specific characteristics of the fabric, should not be washed at high temperatures. It provides excellent care of the laundry at a temperature of 30°C or less, dueto a more intensive tumbling rhythm and more water. In addition to the innovative UltraWHITE programme for white laundry, Gorenje's new generation washing machines offer other programmes specially tailored for particular types of laundry, such as PerfectBlack, BioWash, NightWash, QuickWash and two user-defined programs -MyFavorite which allows simple adjustment by the user.
Optimum laundry drying
The new generation of Gorenje dryers with unique IonTech ion technology which when combined with the innovative Gorenje washing machines, provide superior care and softness for laundry, doing away with unpleasant static charge. The integrated heat pump allows drying at a lower and even temperature making it suitable foreven the most delicate fabrics. The laundry is evenly distributed throughout the process and never tangles. This effectively renders ironing unnecessary. After the drying cycle, the laundry is ready to be folded and stored.
