Ljubljana - President Borut Pahor received on Wednesday credentials from new ambassadors of Switzerland, Gabriele Schreier, and Mongolia's Cengeg Midžidorž.

Schreier succeeds Denis Knobel. She has so far served in the Swiss Mission to the European Union as minister counsellor, head of political affairs and security. In the past she has headed the Swiss embassies in Denmark (2011-2012) and Bulgaria (2005-2009), according to LinkedIn.

Midžidorž will cover Slovenia from the embassy in Vienna. He succeeds Battungalag Gankhuurai, whom Foreign Ministry State Secretary Stanislav Raščan received on a farewell visit in Vienna in August 2021.
