Two French teenagers go missing in Gorenjska

Mojstrana - Rescuers have been looking for two French teenagers who went missing on Thursday after having split from their group. They were last seen in the Mlince area in the direction of the Dovška Baba peak in the Western Karawanks.

The search is ongoing in the Kransjka Gora, Jesenice and Bled areas where police are gathering info about a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy. The Slovenian Police Force has joined forces with their Austrian counterpart, as well as firefighters, and emergency services.

On Thursday, a Mojstrana search party searched the area between Belca and Dovje, as well as Plavški Rovt and Hrušica, where the teenagers were last seen, while the area between the Kepa and Dovška Baba peaks has been examined by a police drone. Another eyewitness saw the two in the Jesenice area.

16-year-old Penelope Murat is 155 cm tall with shoulder-lenght brown hair. She is also wearing corrective glasses. 17-year-old Swenn Gaudin Jeangoyut is 170 cm tall with short blonde hair. Both were last seen wearing T-shirts, shorts, and backpacks.
