Ljubljana - Slovenia reported 2,402 new cases of coronavirus for Monday, 9% fewer than the same day a week ago as cases kept falling week-on-week for the 12th day running. Six patients with Covid-19 died, fresh data from the Health Ministry shows.

The number of patients needing hospital care for Covid-19 dropped by nine from Sunday to 104, of whom 15 require intensive care. The overall number of infected hospitalised patients also fell, by 20 to 273.

Data from the National Institute of Public Health shows the 14-day case notification rate per 100,000 of the population falling by 28 in a day to 993 and the 7-day case average is down by two to 1,441.
