Ljubljana - Icelandic President Gudni Thorlacius Johannesson will start a two-day official visit to Slovenia on Sunday. The situation in Ukraine, food and energy security, Western Balkans, and EU enlargement will top the agenda.

Other topics Johannesson and Slovenia's Borut Pahor plan to broach include environmental issues, strengthening of green policies and the green economy, and the fight against climate change, Pahor's office has said.

Johannesson will also hold talks with Prime Minister Robert Golob and National Assembly Speaker Urška Klakočar Zupančič, and appear as a panellist at the Bled Strategic Forum.
