Ljubljana - A total of 3,635 coronavirus cases were confirmed in Slovenia between Friday and Sunday, which is on par with the figures from the previous weekend. Five patients with Covid-19 died since Friday.

There were 77 patients hospitalised due to Covid-19 in conventional care on Sunday and eight at intensive care units, which compares to 72 and six respectively a week earlier.

The seven-day average of recorded cases is presently at 1,979, up 20 in a day. The 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 people is currently at 1,344, six more than the day before.

The National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) estimates the number of active coronavirus cases at 28,311, 122 more than the day before.
