Berisha's talks with Slovenian representatives, including PM Janez Janša, President Danilo Türk and parliamentary Speaker Gregor Virant, will focus on the situation in the Western Balkans and Albania's progress on its path towards the EU.

The visit, which marks the 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Slovenia and Albania, will be a chance for strengthening political contacts between the two countries, Janša's office said ahead of the visit.

Berisha will also take part in the final day of the Bled Strategic Forum by contributing to a panel on challenges faced by the EU in SE Europe and delivering the keynote address at the official lunch.
