Atlantic Grupa has around 4,350 employees. The company's headquarters are in Zagreb, with production facilities in Croatia, Germany, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia, and companies and representative offices in 11 countries.

The road was steep, and successful

The company was established in 1991 in Zagreb as a distribution company for fast moving consumer goods. Atlantic Grupa's great success in marketing the brands of other companies led to the decision to build its own portfolio of brands. The process began with the launch of the first packaged sandwich in Croatia under the company's own Montana brand, and was followed by the acquisition of Cedevita, the leading regional producer of vitamin instant drinks, and the purchase of Neva, the leading cosmetics producer in Croatia. Atlantic Grupa's aim during the first decade of the new millennium was to expand to other markets in the region, with the opening of representative offices in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Macedonia and Italy, and to develop the production of sports nutrition products. With the purchase of the Germany based company Haleko, the UK company Sport Direct, and the domestic companies Fidifarm/Dietpharm and Multivita, Atlantic Grupa became the leading European supplier of sports nutrition products and the leading regional supplier of vitamin drinks and food supplements. Atlantic Grupa also owns a chain of pharmacies in Croatia.
Atlantic Grupa recorded a breakthrough in its operations in 2010 with the purchase of the most successful Slovenian food company, Droga Kolinska, which added several strong brands with excellent market positions in the region and tremendous European potential to its portfolio. The company Kalničke vode became part of Atlantic Grupa the same year.

Brands - the wealth of Atlantic Grupa

The group's operations are divided into six strategic business units (Coffee, Beverages, Sports and Functional Food, Pharma and Personal Care, Savoury Spreads and Snacks), and into four strategic distribution regions (Croatia, Slovenia-Serbia-Macedonia, HoReCa and International Markets) and the Russian market.
With the purchase of Droga Kolinska, Atlantic Grupa obtained several strong brands that have enriched its exceptional market portfolio. Argeta is one of the three leading brands in the spreads segment on all regional markets, with exceptional export potential. Its market share in Austria and Switzerland already exceeds 25%. Barcaffé is the strongest and leading coffee brand in Slovenia for Turkish coffee, espresso and instant coffee. Similarly, Grand Kafa is the leading coffee in all segments in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia. The range of Najlepše želje chocolate products and Smoki snacks are extremely successful and popular in the aforementioned regional markets. Successful regional brands are combined in the strategic beverages segment: Cedevita vitamin drinks, carbonated, non-alcoholic Cockta drinks and Donat Mg -magnesium rich, natural mineral water. The Bebi brand offers a range of baby food products for the markets of Russia and Eastern Europe. Atlantic Grupa is also a leading European producer of nutritional products for athletes (Multipower) and the largest producer of food supplements in the region under the Dietpharm brand. It is also a major producer of personal care products (Neva, Melem, Plidenta, Rosal, etc.).
