In partnership with the hotel chain Accor, Mogotel Hotel Group has launched its first two Ibis Styles hotels in Slovenia by rebranding Hotel Central and The Fuzzy Log in Ljubljana's city centre.

The largest hotel operator in the Baltic countries, Mogotel Hotel Group leased the two Ljubljana hotels in summer last year for 20 years for a combined €12 million.

It leased The Fuzzy Log from the Slovenian real estate fund Equinox and Hotel Central from IP Central, a company owned by Union Hotels Collection.

It had already been planned at the time that the two hotels were to operate under the world-renowned Ibis Styles brand as part of Accor Hotels, one of the largest hotel chains in the world.

The three-star Ibis Styles Ljubljana Centre, advertised as design economy hotel on the Accor website, features 90 rooms. Ibis Styles Ljubljana The Fuzzy Log is an energy-self sufficient eco hostel that offers 111 rooms made from recyclable materials, such as poplar wood. The accommodation includes five rooftop tents and ten capsules.

Mogotel Hotel Group said these were the second and third hotels to open under a franchise contract with Accor Hotels. The two groups are in talks to expand their cooperation with different projects in various countries.

Mogotel Hotel Group operates 22 hotels with over 3,000 rooms in Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and Slovenia. The hotel chain operator Accor owns 5,300 hotels and over 10,000 catering facilities in 110 countries worldwide, as well as over 40 brands.
