So far only these three candidates have file their bids with the Electoral Commission. 3% of the the 700 respondents called by Delo Stik, in-house pollster of the daily Delo, said they would give their vote to some other candidate.

The survey, conducted between 8 and 10 October, shows that 5% of the respondents remain undecided, while 6% said they would not go to the polls.

The paper points out that it cannot forecast the victory of a candidate in the first round.

Taking into account only those who said they would go to the polls, Türk's popularity is at 52%. However, this is too close to one half of the voters to predict whether there will be a second round.
